Optional Accessories for Your Forklift
Audible Devices - Motion or back-Up Alarms:
Back-up alarms and motion alarms are audio device accessories that generate enough sound so that the sound is heard overtop the noises generated from the forklift itself.
The sound needs to be readily distinguishable from other audible devices or sounds in the work environment. Sound must be readily discernible from other noise or audible devices within the work area. The audible device could end up contributing to OSHA noise limitation and to employee noise exposure; hence, care needs to be taken.
Hearing protection makes it harder to hear the audible device and to distinguish what distance and direction it is coming from. Audible devices could occasionally get deactivated from operators and employees because they could find them really annoying. What's more, audible devices can also be objectionable to residents nearby.
Additional Operator & Application Options:
Enclosed Operator Cabs: To be able protect the operator from the elements, enclosed operator cabs made of tempered glass are used to help avoid injuries and reduce other issues. Furthermore, these cabs feature an emergency exit through removing the window. The levels of noise are reduced at the operator's ear because of additional sound proofing.
Operator Selectable Performance Modes: The operator could choose the performance need for the specific application. Moreover, it enables a supervisor to set the maximum performance of a model for an operator who is just learning. Being able to reduce and adjust the maximum performance of the model allows a new operator to learn the equipment's operating features in a controlled environment.
Impact Monitor: The impact monitor deactivates the unit and when this happens, it requires a supervisor to re-enable and override the unit. This encourages the operator to be sure to manage the machine in a more controlled manner.
Dual Rear View and Panoramic Mirrors: These particular mirrors help to assist the operator in observing the operating space behind the vehicle, and their tail swing area.
